If you get married or if you want to take on German citizenship, there are number of things you will need to bear in mind.

Do you want to become naturalised as a German citizen?

The Standesamt Frankfurt am Main (registry office) is responsible for naturalisation and will provide you with the information you need:

The BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) provides general information on naturalisation. This information is available in Arabic, German, English, French, Russian and Turkish:

The BAMF runs an online test centre. You can use this centre to practise for the "Living in Germany" test and the naturalisation test. You can also study sample questions:

Do you want to get married?

The Standesamt der Stadt Frankfurt am Main (registry office) is where people get married. If you want to get married, you will need certain documents. You can get information about the documents you will need here:
